Sport N style feat Mick Fanning,been 4 yrs since I worked with mick,last time being for RIP CURL INTL.Been following micks progress on the CT this year and to hang with him for a few hours,take some photos in such a relaxed situation was great,he seems totally in focus for wining his 2nd world title.

Sydney Magazines cover and story/dec issue out,featuring local actress susie porter,out of all the people I've phtotographed for the cover of this magazine susie was one of the most genuine and down to earth people(even after coming straight from the airport having just flown in from London)great to see such a talent being recognized this way,she's a great actress.

Ex Model Michaela whom I worked for a few years ago for Aust Bazaar has been doing really well in Paris with her underground POP! She was a great model when she worked so fun to catch up after a few yrs and shoot some pictures which are out in new revamped CLEO magazine this month,attached are a couple of them

Our 3rd and final shoot for 2009 has come out this week,it's been great being involved the way we have this year in developing the brand basically through the way we've shot it and Imogen Barron has styled!It's going from strength to strength and having this creative freedom means were gonna hopefully take it somewhere much bigger next year,will keep updates on this blog

New lookbook out this week of Charlie's latest collection(s)Shot recently in an amazing deco apartment in Rose Bay and styled by peter simon philips of Grazia.Great to see such a unique character in the Australian Fashion Industry continuing to create great pieces,this latest colection I think one of her best over the last couple of seasons,a lot of fun to work on!!!!

Steph Rice and Eamon Sullivan/New Davenport Campaign

Just out the new Davenport Underwear campaign with swimmers stephanie Rice and Eamon Sullivan,great to work with these guys who I must say are the consumate pro's now with this sort of thing,gave us more than what he had asked!!! Also a quick mention to all the crew who worked on this project,who did a great job bringing it all togther,especially dave bonney for your creativity(and brilliant props!!!)

3G MOBILE CRICKET CALENDER

3G Mobile's cricket calender has come out this week feat.shane watson/simon katich/shaun tait/nathan bracken/ben hilfenhaus/to name a but a few,we shot the calender mainly in Edinburgh,Scotland late August and was an interesting project to work on,all the players were really keen to work on there individual shots though being something there not too used to led to a couple of laughs off camera,great to see sportspeople willing to do something like this for nicks to raise funds for Glenn Mcgraths Foundation!!!!!

Australis TVC feat-Tahyna Tozzi

The new Australis TVC which I directed back in August has just started hitting your screens,we shot the ad over 2 days with DP Daniel Ardilley,and and old friend of mine Tahyna Tozzi whom I first worked with when she was about 10yrs old,and who's gone on to star in wolverine etc etc.For me this was my firts serious foray into directing with a decent name brand,and hopefully the start of many more,it's a great medium and one which benefits my stills work immensely and an area stills photography just may be well headed,stay tuned

Photo shoot with stephanie Gilmore out this week in sport n style,in what was a pretty horrible day weatherwise up at Nth Palm Beach,steph proved a real trooper in basically drizzling rain/crazy wind/storm surf,kept up her sense of humour throughout the day,not only a lovely girl,but one of the best ever female surfers.Big thanks to Mick Mock at Little Dragon,Newport for the lend of the mal,thought it great to take a current world champ out of the "A"typical surf scenario and photograph them in a more classic style.

Out this week in Harpers Bazaar(singapore edition)an editorial several months in the making with one of my fave stylists Ken Goh,and leading australian hair and make up artist Sophie Roberts,The shoot the 2nd and final installment from our trip to Kangaroo Island,SA,featuring Shanay Hall(Viviens,sydney)photographed in the Flinders Chase Natl Park,in an incredibly unique environment,the result of the recent bushfires.A great collaboration(once again!!!!!!)A special thanks to Tourism Australia,Singapore and the Southern Ocean Lodge for the great digs.
